On this page we will attempt to list all the vehicles First Bus used on First Northampton routes after the last true Northampton Transport was taken over. These buses are as well as some of the old Northampton Transport fleet that were used when First took over and their fleet numbers changed accordingly.

It will be the best we know as I have found out First used many buses in the town, some only on loan for a few days, some for a longer period, and as you see towards the end we ended up with a reduced and increasingly old fleet for when First left the town and sold the St James Bus Station to Barretts Shoes next door, and in 2022 it still remains untouched and unloved - a remnant of what was once reputedly one of the best Council owned Transport services. St James Depot also seemed to be a stoarage facility for many First buses from around the country before being disposed of.

25 Volvo B7L Buses all ex-Manchester bought for the Commonwealth Games in 2002 then transferred to First Northampton
