Why not join us on some of these events? Each Membership Card will allow you to bring one guest. Extra guests and any non-members can join us by taking out a Day Membership for £5.00.

The bus will normally pick up from Victoria Street, Northampton and return there at the end of the day. Departure and anticipated return times (unless shown above) will be notified nearer to the date once details are finalised.

All trips must cover the costs of running them. We hope you would consider giving NTH a realistic donation to help with ongoing expenses. Bear in mind that our costs include not only the fuel used on the day but also tyres, insurance, repair and maintenance, storage and ongoing preservation.

Remember that some of the trips will involve entrance charges and we do not include these. Wherever possible we will tell you what these are but many rates for this year have not yet been set by the venues.

If you are interested in joining us on any of the above days please let me know by using the contact form located on the contact page. Remember to say who you are, which trip you want to come on and how many of you there will be. Details will then be confirmed to you a short while before the event date.

Additional outings to bus rallies and running days are likely to be arranged during the year and you will be updated as these are booked.

Please note that all trips are subject to availability of the vehicle and being able to provide a crew for the bus.

We look forward to seeing you.

National Tramway Museum at Crich – Coach

April 14 @ 08:00 - 17:00

Set in the Derbyshire Peak District the National Tramway Museum is home to a world renowned collection of more than 90 vehicles. These include vintage trams from the earliest horse drawn models through to the first generation electric trams and system maintenance vehicles. The trams operate on a mile long track with various stops en route with views of the Amber Valley from the terminus. There is a period street scene with buildings that have been saved and relocated to Crich, the Great Exhibition Hall detailing tramway history and the Stephenson Workshop – originally a smithy and wagon works now with a viewing platform for the workshops. Along the line there are woodland walks, a sculpture trail and picnic areas. The village has places to eat and drink. There will be a guided tour of the workshops and exhibition hall.

This event is organised jointly with Hannington Vintage Tractor Club.

Travel will be by coach.
Depart Hannington at 0800 hours and Northampton Victoria Street at 0830 hours.
Return from Crich at 1500 hours to arrive back at Victoria Street around 1630 hours and Hannington about 1700 hours.

Fare including coach travel and admission is £25.00 and £22.00 for under 15 year olds.
